Hello beloved Steemians!
I hope you guys are all fine. My name is Bouchra, I am 30 years old and I am from Morocco 🇲🇦. I was born and raised in the capital, Rabat.
And this is my story:
I had started as an athlete (a successful one 😇) and I had won the Moroccan championship 3 times in a row in addition to 2 silver medals in both the Arab Athletics Championships and the African Championships in Athletics and some other minor competitions.
I was living the dream, a dream that every boy or girl back in my hometown wanted to conquer simply because opportunities were not something you can find every day in a developing country. however, destiny had another say in my story as I was getting ready to attend a competition outside the country, I wanted to be alone and get some inspirations and so against the will of my family I went to a beach not far from home but is was covered in rocks instead of sand. And while I was climbing for a better view my foot had slipped and my ankle got sprained immediately. I was so upset and desperate as I saw my future hanging in front of me.
Anyway, I had multiple surgeries and I started walking again normally. my teammates were happy for me as I was practicing again. but, with time I had figured out that I used to be the same, my performances had declined so badly even though I’ve tried so hard, in my small unit I was the best and now I’m struggling to at least have a respectful record.
It was clear for everyone that this is not my field anymore 😔, and this was reflected in my behaviors towards my colleagues and my coaches until one day when I had discovered that my personal coach was stealing from me. I didn’t sue him for anything but one day he will regret it.
Fleeing ✈️ the country was my first option, I went to Qatar seeking a new career as a training coach. I was providing Zumba classes, aerobics and aqua gym classes among others. Little by little, I was climbing the scales further and five years later I had found myself as a chief housekeeping officer in Abu Dhabi. I had stayed there for 10 years but my homesickness was growing accordingly until I’ve decided to get back to my roots along with my husband.
One thing I hadn’t mentioned is that I share an entrepreneurial Mindset. and having my own business was my aspiration for a while. but time was always running against me until my cousin had pointed me to the invention of Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies and had taught to me all the areas of this powerful platform.
looking forward to emerge myself in this amazing world 💪.
And happy aid for all the islamic community 👍.
