I am Harouna Sy and i'm originated from Senegal ( A beautiful country in West Africa), i am 20yrs old dark skin and pretty handsome guy.
Since i was a child i always loved exploring and being too young to travel alone i used to explore the web and that's how computers became my best friends, i used to sit all day in front of the computer and i used to fix small problems and feel like i'm the new Bill Gates (Don't act like it never happened to you) .My whole family know me as "the computer boy" and i'm studying computer science at ISM Business school in Dakar. (Yes it's a business school that teaches Computer science :D)

Wow, you are so interesting, can you tell us more about yourself ?

Of Course,
I grew up in a pretty decent home with lovely parents and two brothers. I am the middle child and i always been tagged as "The weirdest one", the one that enjoys loneliness and electronical devices. I had the chance to grow up with technology and i fell in love quickly with it. Most of my time is spent learning about new technologies and trying to be part of it. I honestly don't follow class as much as i used to because i feel like most of the things we are learning are outdated and that we should focus more on building the future not how others in the past built our present.
Outside the spectrum of technology,
i love reading. I love books about self development, self improvement and business but i'm an open-minded type of person so i'll read whatever interesting book i can grab. I'm a gamer too i have a ps4 (Playstation has the best exclusive contents ^^) and i love watching vlogs about travels. In the future i would like to explore the world, for real this time and see all the beauty our lovely planet has to offer.

We are so lucky to have you as a member, how did you find out about steemit ?

Being curious and passionate about new technologies and also wandering around my suggestions on YouTube i was introduced to steemit by a crypto channel. I was already familiarized with blockchain technology and cryptos but i really fell in love with the idea of this new decentralized social media that rewards its users for sharing, commenting and having interactions.
I stopped posting on all social medias because i wasn't seeing the interest of being controlled and having your identity at the mercy of a tech giant. In most of those platforms you people aren't themselves anymore, they have a persona because they're afraid of other peoples judgement.
Here, i hope to see a community of people sharing their thoughts and being who they really are. I am really opmtimistic about the opportunities in steemit and i really think that it can change how social media work in a truly positive way.
