Hello, steemit! After several suggestions from my bf to join this community, I've finally decided to post my first picture here.
The lake on this picture is called Big Almaty Lake. It's located around 2500 meters above Almaty, Kazakhstan. It's astoundingly beautiful there, being so close to the peacefully laying clouds... It also looks like you could film an episode of Twin Peaks here,lol :D. As you might have noticed, it has a weird blue-grey(ish) colour, and apparently it's because of chalk and minerals which melt in the summer and turn the lake into this colour. In autumn, this lake turns blue.
I'm not entirely sure about what I want to be posting here, but I do have a few ideas. Let's begin!
