Introduce Yourself Blog Post

Hey there Hive community! My name is Tyler and as the title states, this is my very first blog post, not only on PeakD, but my first blog post ever! So, with that being said, I felt like it was only fitting to introduce myself, and what I plan on using PeakD for!

As I previously said, my name is Tyler, and I'm 30 years old, currently residing in the middle of Amish Country in Illinois. I am a father to 3 wonderful children; my 11 and 8 year old daughters, an almost 2 year old son; and a 10 week old fur baby that my fiance and I just adopted for our son! We also have a new addition coming to our family soon! Currently, my hobbies include spending time with my family, training our new puppy, gardening, and playing a few video games whenever possible, and I am going to attempt to start diy projects around the house for renovations and general upkeep.

I joined PeakD after talking to my friend and coworker, Hive account@nicksmitley, about the different topics and communities that are on here, and decided to give it a try and start blogging about the training progression of our puppy, the new garden my family and I started in attempt to become self sufficient due to the current state of the economy, and just some overall personal discussion and Q&A blog posts.

My goal for now is just to become more familiar with the platform, and to learn some new and hopefully interesting views and opinions from other people, especially on gardening and on life overall. I hope to have some good and meaningful discussions, and hope you all enjoy my future content!
