Greetings Steemians,
My name is Sukhpreet and I'm 20 years old. I've been on Steemit for a few months now reading and learning as much as I can. I've finally decided to quit procrastinating and write my #introduceyourself post, again. The first time my account was “doseofnature” (you can read that here: https://steemit.com/introducemyself/@doseofnature/welcome-to-dose-of-nature ) but I later discovered dose of nature is also the name of a company, so to avoid legal trouble I created this account, “the3i1” (aka the three eyed one). To begin, I'd like to state that I am new to cryptocurrencies and have very minimal understanding of how a blockchain works, however I am very impressed by the concept of Steemit. I was surprised to see how my account grew in value after simply upvoting posts and commenting. This also made me curious to see if Steemit can be a viable solution for unemployment, and debt.
My family and I have been struggling financially recently, so Steemit seems like a blessing. Ive seen alot of people make a decent amount of money off their first post. However, i've also come across some accounts who have earned nothing from their posts. I'm curious, how much attention will this post gather? What is it that makes a good and lasting first impression? What makes an introduction stand out? There are a lot of variables that can affect a first impression, one of the most important in my opinion is a person's display of confidence or self esteem. A display of confidence shows other people that the person trusts themselves, and this subconsciously makes other people trust them too. This is why confident people seem very charming and trustworthy.
Why am I writing about this in my introduction post? Well to be honest, I don't see myself as a "confident person", I have my ups and downs (like everyone else). I just like to analyze human behaviour and interactions cause it interests me. Also, I feel that asking these kind of questions help me to grow as a person because then I need to think of an answer which stimulates creativity. I have been interested in Psychology for a long time, I'm interested in health in general (includes mental health, physical and spiritual.) So I will be writing a lot about topics such as alternative methods of healing, mindfulness, the outdoors, nutrition, yoga/meditation, neuroscience and nootropics (cognitive enhancers) as well as other awesome and interesting things. Also if you have any suggestions for something I should write about regarding natural health, please feel free to comment below, follow and don't forget to click that upvote button!
