Hi,
I'm a professional Poker player for the last 11 years and I recently also stream on twitch ( ). Currently Im on a Bankroll challenge to turn my 30.000$ into 3 million to then retire from poker. The current standing after 7 months is 170.000$!
Recently I have been getting obsessed by cryptocurrency and trading, which brought me to steemit.
Before I go into the reasons I joined steem, Im gonna give an overview of
What to expect by my posts:
I will go to the World Series of Poker in about 2 weeks and Im going to blog about my experience there on a hopefully daily basis.
Thats to start with, in general I will also blog about everything that interests me and I think will be of interest to more people.
Im a numbers guy, so be prepared for maybe some number crunching in my posts ;)
Since im currently interested in trading a lot, I might talk about certain cryptos, trading psychology and mistakes a lot of people do. As well as rant about stuff like Poloniex lag or so on ;P
When it comes to blogging quality.. I'm not a proffesional writer, but I write from my heart.
Now on to the reasons I joined steemit:
Lets go back to the year 1999, I just got internet, the dot com bubble was in full effect.
I fell in love with a site called Ciao.com, I figured you can write articles and get money for your posts! Awesome!
I wrote about games I reviewed at that time and made 10 bucks or so, very exciting for me at the time!
Unluckily the money source of advertisment took a big hit and the revenue for the likes dropped to basicly zero.
I think steemit has the potential to make it better!
Jump forward to the year 2007, I just started playing poker and enjoyed reading poker blogs. In fact, the reason I started poker, was that I was reading a blog of a Warcraft 3 player named Tillerman, that started playing Poker and bought a house with his winnings.
So I also started my own blog and wrote about things that interested me in Poker. I kind of want to revive that with steemit.
My old blog can still be seen there I think: http://fold4value.blogspot.com
And finally, I think steemit has the potential to get Huuuuuge, so there are also investement reasons that brought me here tbh.
See you guys back when I start post from Vegas most likely!
