Ngalim Franklin (Mr. Green) is a grassroots environmentalist with over 8 years’ experience and currently serving as Founder/Executive Director of The Greens, a youth environ-agricultural and health organization and a Geology Teacher with 9 years’ experience working at Government High School Kedjom-Keku. Over the years, Mr. Green has anchored more than 300 environmental radio programs (Green Radio), engaged 15 schools in environmental protection projects (Green Schools), trained more than 100 youths about climate change, educated and engaged several communities to take action for biodiversity and water conservation, planted more than 200,000trees, and inspired more than 10,000 youths in arts and sports for conservation. He is author of the project Waste Business Hub which is currently training young people on business opportunities in recycling waste, hence nurturing a generation of Wastepreneurs. Mr. Green believes humanity can only thrive in a just and sustainable world and this explains his passion for environmentalism.
