Hello Steemians

I am a newcomer to steemit who heard about it via word of mouth. My name is Hive account@thuban and I am from the United States, currently working full time at a job that will hopefully allow me to set aside enough to retire in the next decade or so.

I have a great interest in homesteading, nature, and DIY. My hobbies include reading, writing, crocheting, and digital art. Most of my posts will likely revolve around at least one of these topics.

Any tips, hints, and tricks would be welcome here to help get me started. :)
