This is my first ever post on Steemit, so I guess I'll just introduce myself.
My name is Korina, otherwise kind of known as tinymischiefs, I'm 26 and I live in Lithuania. I work as a senior specialist in a money service business' operational centre and am a clumsy, self-taught (and still learning) illustrator/doodler of sorts, who also likes to edit videos in my spare time and be creative in general. (And write long-ass sentences, so sorry in advance).
I was always doodling stuff, in boring meetings at work or on sandwich bags for my boyfriend to take to work. You know, stuff like that. But just recently I started posting my illustrations online.
I draw both digitally and traditionally and I looove drawing puns, although I don't limit myself to it. Sometimes I might throw in a portrait, a fashion sketch, a minimalistic doodle or maybe I'll just go wild and post a photograph. Who knows, right? Endless possibilities. Oh wait, no, but please don't expect a painting. Some markers, maybe, but no paintings, otherwise every inch of my flat and body would be drenched in paint, the whole situation involving some kind of a paint splashing accident, a graceless falling down, a lot of shouting and an unknown flying dog for some reason. I once actually broke my finger while painting. Weeeell, it was mostly like that (maybe I'll tell you about it some other time).
I've learned about Steemit primarily from my boyfriend nematosi who told me, if I remember correctly:
'I think you should definitely join Steemit, it's a great place for you to be as an artist and content creator'.
So after reading about it for a bit and watching a couple of videos on youtube I'm just thrilled to join in and see the amazing things that you people create and share here. Before I started posting here, I sat down, opened my notebook and thought what topics interest me and what I want to post, and that's what I came up with (although the list is probably non exaustive):
If I needed to describe myself in 3 words I'd say clumsy and quirky ('and' is a word!) I also loove food, although I'm not too keen on making it myself. I sort of like going outside, but only if it's not raining. If it is, I prefer just stay inside wrapped in a blanket since I'm apparently a lizard person who is cold ALL.THE.TIME
I unfortunately don't do great when it comes to catching up with friends. Probably that has something to do with me being an introvert. Oh, but don't be fooled by my innocent looks and uncomfortable silence if we're ever in a room together - once I get to know a person, I turn around 180 degrees and become this unstoppable-overly excited-word blurting-three year old-thing.
My favorite pet in the world (that also happens to be my spirit animal) is a hedgehog. I don't own one now, but I'm intensely thinking about it (and you know, if you really really really think about something, and do absolute squat about it, it happens right? Right? haha).
