Who am I?
I am the person observing and listening in
I am a crossbreed of introverted and extroverted
My life is cool, calm, and collected, but my view is bright, warm, and beautiful.
This is a self portrait photo that I took of myself gazing out of my bedroom window.
I believe this is a peak into my life and who I am.
Inside a quiet dark room I watch as the sun shines down onto the green grass. I watch as kids play and birds sing. I wonder when my life will really start. I wonder if I will always feel like maybe something is missing.
You know when you are sitting alone at a table and the people at the table next to you are talking very loudly and you can't help but listen? I am always listening. I observe others and their way of life. I see the small details while perhaps excluding myself from life.
Yet I have another side to me. The loud, outgoing, approachable side. . .
I can be the most friendly and interesting person you will ever meet but often I am afraid to jump out of my comfort zone.
I express a lot of who I am through writing and art. As a teenager I spent much time writing in my journal or drawing.
I have always been a very independent person, and like most people, am damaged from my life experiences.
I want to be raw and real in this blog. That is why my name is truthtalks. I want there to be a sort of raw honesty to what I have to say. I don't want to sugar coat who I am or what I have been through or what I have to say about an issue.
And I hope you will do the same.
I desire to share creative and inspiring content that will perhaps spark conversation. I want to challenge ideas. If we didn't ask questions, how would we ever grow? I want to ask questions. I want others to ask questions.
You want to know basic info about me? Well here it is,
I'm a 19 year old college student from Indiana currently studying Chemistry.
I hope one day to do research or perhaps work in cosmetics? I have no idea where life will take me.
I have a vinyl collection, and enjoy music ranging from Elvis to Post Malone.
I really enjoy oldies music, but yet my favorite genres currently would be rap and R&B.
I think music is such a great source of expression.
I am a young soul who yes, spends way too much time watching netflix.

"gets wild after 9 pm" (which means I'm dancing like a worm having a seizure or rolling on the floor cry-laughing)

Last but not least, I have a succlent named "sucky"
