Hi everyone! I am Tuk Kura, a passionate art enthusiast who write, manage and occasionally paint. I am also the founder of ARTO Movement; multi-disciplinary art collective. Graduated from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) with both diploma in Arts and bachelor degree in Fine Arts (BFA). Currently working as art manager at one of the leading contemporary art gallery in Malaysia; Artcube.
To date, I managed to manage about 20 over art exhibitions since 2010, among them are, Kala Warna Bertatih; a Group Show by ARTO Movement (2010), Takik; a Group Show by ARTO Movement (2011), Symptoms II; Creative Art Festival (2012), Spectrum (2014), BendAsing oleh Bukan Seni-Man (2016), Takde Sape Suroh (2016), Inception by TERBIT Art Collective (2017), Field Trip Project Asia (Kuala Lumpur) (2017) and Progredi; Young Artists Exhibition (2018).
I have actively been invited to give talks, curates as well as facilitate for workshops and events among which, Still Life (2011), Takik II (2012), #MohleMembaceKome (2014), Wacana Estetika Seni 2.0 (2014), Seni; Refleksi kepada Kebendaan Atau Kebenaran? (2015), Platform 2: Artist, Time & Space (2015), DIA:SPORA, Festival IDEARAYA 2015 (2015), Bukan Objek Seni by Bukan Seni-Man (2016), Artis (Wanita) Muda Dalam Seni Rupa Malaysia [SERUM] (2017) and Seni dan Kolektif (2018).
