I don't recall doing an introductory post when I first opened my steemit account about a year ago. My name is Jerokiah Darr 
Formerly a Private Investigator in TN, USA, a sergeant in the US Army Infantry, security for GM, I took to affiliate marketing and web development in 2008. Spent four years studying for a B.S. in Software Engineering at ITT just to learn some programming languages and foundations, teaching myself PHP and JavaScript and building/managing traffic exchange related affiliate programs as a hobby.
Since 2016 I no longer run any of those sites due to lack of time and no profitability. I now just host my blog at jerokiahdarr.com and run a few cryptocurrency nodes.
Bitcoin and blockchain technology got a hold of me in 2015, which is when I decided to run a faucet (top-bit) to help bolster the chain and learn more about the potential of the technology. That quickly became a difficult site to maintain between ad policies and fluctuating values due to volatility. My Google AdSense account has since been banned due to some violation of their policy (still not clear what, other Ad Platforms running simultaneously?).
But I digress...
Right now I am happy to continue my research, vestment and contributions to the cryptocurrency development and future.
