I understand quiffe to be part of the French slang, sometimes spelled differently, sometimes not. It’s true meaning (and spelling) tend to be elusive (like a unicorn). Of course, I could have just used the common vulgar spelling of queef. But where’s the fun in that? If you’re going to be different, then you should just go for it!
So what exactly is a unicorn quiffe? Well, no one really knows, do they? One can only imagine. I like to think unicorns “queef” rainbows. LOL.
But a unicorn quiffe? It’s undefined but I thought it very intriguing...
Some of you might be thinking that unicorns don’t even exist; this new girl on Steemit is off her rocker; is this for real?
Stick with me here.... I like to think that they do, metaphorically. There is magic in the belief! Unicorns are thought to be rare, unique, mystical, amazing creatures. Aren’t we all unicorns? Our power as individuals lie in our own uniqueness. What can only you add to the world? What talents do you have to contribute? What perspective can you share based on your own unique life experiences? How are you going to IMPACT our world? What will your legacy be?
I have a tattoo on my left collarbone that I got when I finally figured out what my purpose in life is. (Isn’t that a question that we often ask ourselves?) It says “inspire love”. I decided that my unique unicorn-ish power as an individual comes from my ability to freely give love to others and my hope is that giving out that love inspires others to do the same.
I’m not speaking of romantic, mushy love (though of course, who doesn’t love that kind of love?) I’m talking about love as a virtue. I am referring to basic compassion towards each other, compassion towards self. Kindness. Love is what makes the world go around. Love is what inspires songs. Love is what can end wars. If enough people demonstrated love for self and others, we could change the world we live in! There is magic in the belief.
I’m not the touchy, feely hippy type (that’s cool if you are, that’s just not me). Unfortunately I’ve never gone on a mission to save the world. I am a busy mother of two. I struggle every day with Bipolar 1 and Multiple Sclerosis. But I understand that I am able to impact the world within my influence. And I can impact it with my love.
