Who V-R?
Here we go, you people that love immersive technologies as much as we do! We are two guys from Berlin who founded uniVRsitas as we want to make Virtual-, Augmented-, and Mixed Reality available to the masses.
The technology is evolving super fast, and almost every month there's a new release awaiting us - but although the big tech companies are releasing as there's no tomorrow, what is really missing at the moment is good content for VR, AR, and MR. That's why Dinesh and myself, Marc, thought we got to do something, to tackle that problem.
uniVRsitas
We are V-R- nerds since the day Oculus released its DK2. Since that day we knew immersive technologies are here to stay and we want to drive that change and logical next step of computing.
Immersive technologies can only be as good as the applications people are creating, so we want to teach you guys, how to become a VR, AR, or MR developer.
In 2018 we believe the acquisition of knowledge doesn't have to happen in a traditional university anymore if you can access information online via your device of choice - anywhere and at any time.
With uniVRsitas, we created a place where you can't just learn new skills about Virtual-, Augmented-, and Mixed Reality but also exchange your creative ideas with like-minded people to start creating something yourself.
Why Steemit?
I have a bunch of friends who kept telling me about Steemit. What got me most and what I kept hearing is the wonderful and vivid community, this platform is living of.
Although the technology we are teaching and talking about has gained quite some popularity, we have to do more - we want to make the world understand how simple it can be to develop for AR, VR, and MR.
Of course, we can't share all our course materials on Steemit, but we'd like to give you some insights, posts about interesting topics, some tutorials, and more every now and then. We'd appreciate any feedback, and we want to show you guys that learning immersive technologies doesn't have to be as complicated as you may think.
