I am Uzair Suhaimi (63), a retired civil servant, living in a happy life (that what I feel). Here are four reasons for my happy life:
(1) In this old age I am blessed with three children, a wife (in the middle in the picture below) and a younger brother (left).
(2) Being able to keep active. With my statistical background I served at BPS-Statistics Indonesia until 2011. After retirement I briefly worked in several government agencies as a statistical consultant, worked for about 6 months at the ILO Asia Pacific Regional Office in Bangkok as a senior statistician, and now an independent consultant in the field of statistics in particular related to the statistics of population and employment. For the last profession I am still available for a short term job. Even a pensioner sometimes I meet with some old friend with some professional background. The following picture was taken at mid-March 2018 in a meeting to discuss the preparation of the 2020th Indonesian Population Census.
(3) Blessed with two daughters and one son (the youngest is about to graduate from her college), all are healthy children. (My two princesses, Bangkok, 2011).
(4) Supported by a big family: one direct grandchild (aged 3), about 30 indirect grandchildren (siblings), and a number of great-grandchildren.
