Introduction - The Surface
My name is Warrenton Dixon and if you have not guessed that I'm proudly Jamaican let me know so I can post an article about that. I am also very opinionated (sometimes too much) but I also like to have my thoughts challenged because I think it facilitates new learning. This is the reason I like to write articles; it's not to say "look what I know and you don't"....it's to say "this is what I believe, here is the reason, what are your thoughts and why." I therefore hope that I'll add value to the Steemit community in this way.
More About Me
My occupation is in the security industry and I'm very impassioned about my role of providing security to my country. I believe this is what's behind my friends nicknaming me "Warlord". Outside of work, I love to do any and everything ...almost. Crypto researching is my latest preoccupation. More formally, I'm involved in the governance of volleyball at the Regional and Continental levels.....which only means that I get more forums to share my opinions, not that I can play volleyball to earn as much as a bottle of water.
I have, however, earned a few trophies and weekends at resorts playing AMATEUR tennis. As a security professional, I at least know how to beat up on weaker persons. Just kidding. My interests is really limitless though; if someone is interested in an activity and there is a way I can help or add value I'm willing to get involve. I guess you could say I'm a social animal.
