Hi everybody,
I'd like to start with wishing everybody reading this post an amazing day. My name is Ron, 26 years old and I am from the Netherlands. Currently I am busy with writing my final research paper for law school, so if this post is a lot shorter than what others are writing it's because my fingers are hurting like hell.
Obligatory selfie:
note: Sorry if the picture is big as f***, didn't want to scare you! Currently growing my beard out, because I need to compensate my height compared to my emoticon looking ass big brother 6'9 (203cm).
My reasoning for creating 'watchesdaily' is probably hard to guess, but it's because I'm truly passionate about wristwatches. I think it started way back, on a hot day in France, running from the sun, from airconditioned store to airconditioned store. We ended up in some dark skechty sneakerstore. There suddenly was, a fully bright red casio, you know, the one with buttons on it. A wrist-calculator, instantly adding points to my suburban street-cred. From this point it started to escalate into what some might call an obsession. This all lead to me even starting my own very small watch brand. The first watch I made was featured on Kickstarter and it FAILED. I can't be happier with that failure looking back at it. It taught me so much about business, marketing and my passion. I didn't backdown and made another watch inspired by the Lancia Delta Integrale Evo, which is an very iconic rally car.
Disclaimer: I will never post my own watches, because it's not a promotion page. I'm doing this to share my passion and have a conversation and hopefully will introduce newer or more unknown brands.

Second watch:
In conclusion I will dedicate this account to wristwatches, known brands and unknown brands, but also cheap and horribly (to the point you might cry in a corner or really start to consider selling your kidney) expensive watches. I will give my unfiltered opinion about every watch, and probably also some information about it, just to be ''professional''.
That's it to be honest, fingers are bleeding, and I need to be in a 28 degrees celsius livingroom tomorrow typing another afternoon on a laptop with the temperature that could make me look like a Dali painting.
Kind regards,
Ron
ps. I'm still figuring out all this stuff, I'm sorry if I screwed something up or will screw something up
