The time has come for me to dust off my keyboard, limber up my index fingers and take my first bold steps into the unknown.

This is actually going to be a blog all about golf (sorry to disappoint if you thought it was going to be something a bit more profound!).
My life's revolved around sport, golf in particular. I've been playing for thirty-one years at all levels including a few professional events on South Africa's Sunshine tour. Needless to say I didn't quite make it to the big-time but I'm now a qualified teaching pro and I've still got as much enthusiasm for the sport as ever.
I've always had a passion for writing so I'm excited to finally give up my blogging virginity to Steemit. I will remember this moment for years to come.
I'm setting out with a couple of goals:
To provide informative previews, daily updates and reviews of ongoing PGA Tour and European Tour events
To offer opinion pieces on players, tournaments and anything else golf related that will hopefully entertain and spark a bit of a discussion/debate
According to my wife golf can get a bit boring sometimes so I'll always try my best to keep things light-hearted.
