Shall I make the switch? Or at least a partial migration? I am on Minds, Gab, Twitter, Tumblr, YouTube and Facebook as 
I just posted two items here, with links to other sites (one mine; the other, someone else’s). I am now merely starting to learn how Steemit works, and am still confused. I do not understand the money aspect. I am not a Bitcoin aficionado. I get the general idea of blockchain, but in the case of Steemit, I do not really understand how one participates in the blockchain aspect of the platform. I do not know how much time I will be able to devote to it, this coming week and month.
I am busy, to say the least.
Books to write, contract work to edit, taxes to do, yards to mow. And my Adobe suite started working again after a reinstall, so I have catching up to do in the video-creation and -editing department. What’s more, I spend several hours a day reading books. Usually between two covers, "boards,” but some books on the iBook and Kindle platforms (I just opened up my pre-ordered copy of Skin in the Game by Nassim Nicholas Taleb).
But I am interested in moving off of Facebook entirely — I have been for well over a year — and Steemit may suit me well. I will see. We will see.
