Hello steemians or should that be steemites?. My name is LongJohn and i'm a college student studying Mechanical Engineering. In truth my first week on steemit was a blur i didn't know what to do, who to follow and especially what the hell to blog about! It was me swimming in this conundrum day in and out and most times discouraged and logging out.
okay, firstly the person that introduced me to steemit did a well banged up job telling me about how much money can be made from steemit as a whole. So you can imagine how he awoken the lion in me craving money.
So i got into steemit with the wrong view, actually in truth my first question was how do i get people to upvote my post?. But you see steemit is not all about the cash, its more!, its a community intertwined for the self benefit of its members, of cause with some little stipends to encourage the hard labour. okay so i realised money is part of it but not necessarily its main aim. ;)
Hey! did you experience a similar thing on your first week on steemit or you had the same money introduction like i did or something else please leave your comments below.
Oh and if you were to follow, it wouldn't be bad...scrap that, it would be awesome!!!
