Last year I took the decision to go all in on cryptocurrency, to quit my job and become a full-time steemian. But let's keep the long story short, it actually became reality last week so that now the whole world is my office.
It simply feels awesome that I don't have to get up at the same time anymore just to jump into the hamster wheel of my 9-5 day job but am now pretty much able to decide for myself when, where and how long I work. It's just been a week so far but let me tell you, it's simply an awesome feeling.
A Short Introduction
Before I go on though to tell you more about my life on the road, please let me introduce myself a bit to you first. I've started blogging on steemit almost about a year ago and some might eventually follow my blog on cryptocurrency via already ( if you don't do so yet, feel free to take a look 😉 )
Other than that I'm actually still staying a bit anonymous and for now just want to reveal a few details about myself while I plan to reveal my full identity later down the road on this personal blog of mine. But let's dive in, so here are some facts about me:
- Origin: South Germany
- Age: End 20's
- Hobbies: Soccer, Squash, Skiing, Scuba-Diving
- Other Interests: Cryptocurrency, good Books
All the rest will stay a secret for now but please feel free to ask any question in the comments, eventually I'll be in the mood to answer them. Otherwise there'll probably be more and more revealed along the way.
My current location
Right now I'm on the Philippines and enjoyed some scuba-diving in Malapascua, a small and very lovely island in the north of Cebu. If you're looking for some relaxed beach holidays then this might be a good place for you in case you are just like me rather keen on less tourists and more locals.
The island is really small but still there are about 3,000 people living there, which led to a nice mix of hotels, restaurants, bars and the local life. Being a tourist I especially enjoyed the fact that people didn't try to overcharge you massively but simply applied the local charges with a small round up eventually.
The marine life over there is definitely amazing as well. Especially in case you're as well eager to experience gorgeous animals underwater in their full glory then you might be just right in Malapascua, as it's the home to Thresher Sharks.
The above picture is from wikipedia but I've been lucky enough to watch more than 4 of those gorgeous sharks down at a depth of 30 meters. I can tell you it's been an experience I'll probably never forget.
Stay tuned for more!
Okay, that's it for today and the short introduction of my new blog . If you like to stay up to date on my future adventures, how it's like to work on the road and which places I will visit from today on, then simply follow me
.
I hope to see you again & interact via the comments :)
Any comments are most welcome as well 😉 |
