Hello Steamiens,
I am Yener,
- a curious 4th decader
- a software engineer
- a traveler,
- a cycler,
- a guitar player
- ah and also a sailor
I have a lot of hobbies in life and a firm believer of "enjoying life requires will and effort". My mom thinks that I have the appetite of a monkey, meaning, I like to try new things, get the taste of it and move on to a new one.
I also like to share what I experience & learn, so here I am, ready to share my take on life...
Hey, that's me enjoying the moment in a train station in Italy...
I love writing. I have a blog about mythologies, beliefs and religions, that I might share some of my writings here with fellow Steamiens. I read many books about the origins of religions and wrote what I learned, so that I won't forget and maybe teach to some curious sapiens like myself out there. That's generally how I operate in life, with the assumption that I know nothing and try to learn as much as my brain allows and share what I get...
I wrote (still actively writing) many articles related to my field (software engineering) in various platforms.
But Steemit gave me a different kind of excitement of writing. A place where quality matters and content providers get rewarded... (Still a little confused about the rewarding system, but will get there eventually). A place where copyright and privacy are secured for you. And a giant corporation does not just 'suck up the big bucks' on the content the author provides, but shares as they are supposed to do. Well I guess 'I am not the product' here at steemit.
As a solid believer in the future of block-chain, respects to the team who thought of & created steemit.
I won't keep it long, just wanted to introduce myself briefly. I hope to write here many 'value-added' articles in the future.
Peace!!
