Hello everyone,

This post is going to be in Dutch (because I'm from the Netherlands and that's my main language). But I also wanted to say hi to all my English speaking friends here. So here is a little bit about me in English.

I'm a bookkeeper based in Haarlem, the Netherlands. Many people think bookkeeping is one of the most boring jobs in the world, but to me it's quite the opposite. Why? Well, I work exclusively with small business owners, and I love all the different stories and ideas they have. Each business is different, and the more I see, the more I learn.

I find that many small business owners struggle with staying on top of their bookkeeping. And I get that. Because if it's not the main thing you do, bookkeeping can actually be quite tedious. That's where a bookkeeper comes in. But enough about that. What else do I like?

I'm into writing, I've been working as a journalist as well. Big fan of sports, especially football (soccer) with FC Barcelona being one of my favorite teams. And generally interested in topics such as self-development, psychology, marketing, and social media.

Otherwise, I'm a terrible cook and really bad at math - just kidding ;)

Nederlanders zijn zo verdraaid goed in Engels

Nou goed, ik neem maar even aan dat iedereen hier ook een aardig woordje Engels leest, dus ik zal niet in herhaling vervallen over wie ik ben en wat ik doe.

Maar als je werkt als zelfstandig ondernemer, of overweegt om ZZP'er te worden, en je kunt wel wat hulp gebruiken met je boekhouding, dan houd ik mij aanbevolen. Ik werk met een aantrekkelijke all-in prijs voor zzp-ers en je kunt me praktisch altijd bereiken. Tot zover de zelf-promotie ;)

Voetballen en Spanje

Een van mijn andere passies is voetbal. Af en toe reis ik naar Barcelona om een wedstrijd van mijn favoriete team bij te wonen. Indrukwekkende stad ook waar ik graag kom. Ondertussen spreek ik een woordje Spaans en dat helpt bij het vinden van mooie plekjes. Zowel voetballen als Spanje zijn de afgelopen jaren veranderd, maar dat bewaar ik voor een andere keer om over te schrijven.

Voor nu, zoals Cruijff graag zei: 'hasta la vista iedereen en vamos a la plaja!' ;)
