Many people in Africa have been victims of this outmoded acts. Such acts include trokosi, FGM, widowhood rites and many others. These acts have been a hindrance in the development of Africa. Women empowerment has been limited through these acts. And if all this is eradicated, it would help in the development of mother Africa.
