My introductory post

Hello steemians
My name is Promise Thompson and am so excited to be here and with all of you.

I am a Nigerian from Africa, and i must say this platform is so so amazing! I got to know about steemit from a friend Hive account@joyart. We were both in a cab heading to school and we were gisting all the way, and one thing led to the other and then boom! she mentioned steemit and how it has changed her life. That got my attention and i asked countless questions trying to clear my doubts and she didnt hesitate in teling me everything i needed to know and in details too, trust me she was so supportive.
After getting home that evening, i stayed up all night, reading and watching tutorials about steemit. Satisfied with the knowledge i had gained, i was ready to set up an account for myself but then i had to wait a whole week before my account was approved. The one week was like forever and i kept checking ma mails endlessly for a notification from steemit.

To say that i am happy to finally be a steemian is an understatement and i give ma utmost shoutout to Hive account@joyarts and Hive account@sancti for helping me in the long run.
And naw am here for good!

I am the last child out of five, and a student of fine arts department, university of uyo. I am an artist and i do alots of designs, drawings, logo creations and sometimes a lil of photography (only when the inspiration comes doh) these are some of ma arts:

Talking of ma hobbies: i love designing, taking crazy shots and traveling.

I believe that one of the best choices i have made in life is choosing steemit and i hope to be an inspiration to each and everyone of you with my posts, having fun and also gaining your support.
