Hello Fellow Steemers
Blonde Bimbo, yes this does refer to my semi natural blonde hair and the fact that I am a bubbly, upbeat and for the most part ditsy. I can however have my mature and some what smart moments.
I come from a HUGE family, 7 siblings..... in case you were wondering we all share the same parents. If we include the half and step siblings we will need to start counting on our toes and possibly steal a few more hands. Naturally coming from a big family you have to over compensate to be recognized. I am extremely competitive, I have my 5 brothers to thank for this. I was the first girl after 4 boys and straight after me, what do you know another boy. I didn't have any girls to compare myself to growing up so I developed at an early age a fine sense of hard work and determination. In future posts I will probably share some of the obscene things we got up to as kids. We aren't entirely sure how my mother survived us kids however I have often thought she is immortal.
My mother is a music teacher, I was brought up in a house filled to the brim with musical instruments. My mom was to busy to teach all of us kids however we were all in owe of her many musical talents. This intrigued me and made me want to test the waters. I began to try out different musical instruments teaching myself from my moms notes that were scatter all over our house. I eventually fell inlove with piano, I played every day without fail. So much so my family grew tired of hearing the same tunes over and over. I am a perfectionist you see, so it was very difficult for me to move onto the next piece until I could play it through without a single error. However as I got older and the demands of life became greater and greater piano seemed to fade away. I moved out of my moms place but I always knew I could visit and rekindle my love for music at any time. It was only when my mother immigrated that the reality of how important music is to me sunk in. The saying: "you don't know what you have until it is gone" is so true. So it is my goal to reconnect with music and in doing so feel connected to my mom. I hope to share my journey back into music with you all.
My father was an athlete and so from a young age I was introduced to all kinds of sport. I was always strongly encouraged to play all sports, which I did all the way through my primary school and high school career. I have had multiple sports injuries and been to more physio than anyone should. My moto in life is I would rather live life and injure myself than live life in a bubble and not experience anything. I would like to share some of my challenges with these injuries and things that helped me get through them.
After school you do not have the same variety of sports. You can play league sport however you have to pay to be apart of a team. Hockey is the only sport that I have continued playing after school. Playing one sport was not enough for me, so I decided to join the gym.
When I first joined the gym it was just to stay fit and relatively toned. I ate normally and partied like a teenage girl for months until I realized that I wanted more. I wasn't happy with the girl I was looking at in the mirror. I wanted to be better, and that is when my fitness journey began. I became strict with my diet however eating healthy but delicious food that fits into my budget. I started weight lifting and surprising myself with how much my body could withstand. Lifting weights and pushing my boundaries became an addiction. I am not a personal trainer nor am I a body builder, I am just a girl who enjoy looking good and feeling good. Most of my feed will be fitness related as it is what I am passionate about.
I think the best way to describe me would be: Adrenalin junkie, fun, adventurous, fitness freak and outgoing.
