What's in a name?
The power of a name and its value has long been immortalized in prose, poetry, and religious ceremony. Everyone recognizes himself or herself by name.
The question is: how does a name influence a person's character?
With that being said, my birth name is something I have always felt didn't suit my personality and was given to me on a whim. My parents named me after Connie Chung the infamous American journalist after seeing her on television.
I on the other hand, preferred to be called Remy. Pronounced as "Ray-me."
I am a Scorpio. My favorite genre of music is Trip-Hop and Grunge. I speak English and broken German.
I currently reside in Los Angeles, CA and I am looking forward to using Steemit to learn about new cultures and make new friends, in essence to have meaningful dialogue. I stumbled upon Steemit not too long ago and will use it as a platform to share my original prose, photography, musical mixtapes, fashion collages and musings.
In addition, I plan to share as many informational articles based on my past experiences and research as possible from life hacks, finance to deeper topics like invisible illnesses and foreign affairs.
