So who is Daughter Wolf?
It has taken me a few days to write my first post, continually answering the question: "Who is Daughter Wolf?" and continually deleting what I had written. Staring at the blank screen, not knowing quite what to say. Perhaps the answer is then- I don't know. I don't quite know who I am, or what I am good at. But I DO know what I love. I love my husband and daughters, I love being a homemaker, I love moving my body and my mind. I love feeling nature, making music, and laughing with friends.
It is my strong intention to learn. To learn about my pagan roots, to learn how to garden and homestead, to learn how to be a better woman and mother. So if you are reading this I hope you will join me on my journey of self discovery, my journey of learning, and I hope together we can share the experience of becoming better women and men.
I would like to share with others the things I find most enjoyable in life. Sometimes I might share my struggles, but it will all be in the name of self improvement. Some things I will share here will be our TTC journey and natural pregnancy, our home birthing experience, the start of our little homestead, music, art, bushcraft, real food cooking, raising children, reclaiming femininity and pagan spirituality.
So here I am, a daughter wolf, staring into the face of our collective wolf mother, listening to the blood memory that has stirred within. Under the light of the pale moon I look into her eyes and see my true self coming into being. I am becoming, and it feels right.
