My name is Dai Mar Tamarack. I live in the USA splitting time between Maui, Hawaii and Stowe, Vermont. I am an international adventure guide. I lead trips on expedition cruise ships to Alaska, Hawaii, Antarctica. I also lead safaris in Africa. I try to balance this career with family time and teaching my kids how to swim, ski, and hopefully surf in the near future.
I studied Marine Biology and Biology in university. After that I worked as a teacher, guide, underwater naturalist, whale researcher, scuba divemaster, boat captain, photographer, and outdoor educator. All of these experiences culminated in my career now, in which I get to do all of these things while waking up in a new place every day.

Most of my blog focuses on my photography and the stories behind the shots. I specialize in wildlife, landscape, and underwater photography.
I was introduced to Peakd, Hive, and Splintertalk through the game Splinterlands. I've been into crypto and blockchain technology since late 2016, and have been searching for a play-to-earn blockchain game. I was turned onto Splinterlands and have been playing for about a month. I'm definitely impressed with the game mechanics, and how much fun I have playing it. I'm looking to dive deeper into all aspects of it including the hive community.
