I can put up a history of my life, but having lived over 60 years, I'm sure I'll miss plenty, so I'll let my posts give you an incite into who I am. I'll give you a background into who and what I am in this short post.
I am 2nd of 5 kids, born into a sports oriented family, but at the same time embracing the digital world as much as the real world early on. I admit my son and daughter know more about the digital world and current gadgets, though I am proud to say I can keep up with and stay ahead of most people my age.
I enjoy social media, chat, and roleplay. I said I am a geek and my love of D&D, and other P&P games will show it. I have participated in online roleplay but not so much video gaming. I prefer chat based interacting and the social aspect over the gaming and fighting portion of roleplay.
I first encountered the internet in 1989 on Q-Link, a precursor to AOL that was made for the Commodore 64 machine. After a while Q-Link and AOL limited me too much so I ventured out into the great new world of the internet. In my socializing and rolelaying I've gained friends all over the world, though not able to visit in real life, we share and enjoy each others accomplishments and struggles.
I may not be great at just freewheeling it with unguided posts, but I am opinionated about some things. I will post my opinions, and share my findings, trying my best not to use the anonymity of the net to troll or otherwise harass.
Although it has not been updated in over a year, and I hope to get to it soon, my about .me page in my profile has many of my social links. I'm not sure how much that will change but it's a way to get to the places I do post my ever changing world opinions and views.
I am hoping to make this site part of my online home, and hope to meet and share greetings and ideas with many of you here on this new world.
