Generally this is a simple machine. The wrap reel may be hand or motor driven. It consists of a reel , yarn package , creel and a yarn guide which has a small sideway traverse to separate the yarn , length indicator warning bell.
#N.B. : automatically motor drive wrap reel has a motor rotating the reel.

Procedure.

At first the wrap reel is adjusted accurately. Yarn is passed from the cone/package through guides to the reel. The length of the sample was measured by the wrap reel counter . The sample is weight by balence , the operation is repeated 12 to 16 times to take their means result.
