It took a debilitating disease to teach my fam that EDUCATION BEATS MEDICATION & life beats debt! We gave into a nasty disease called Sarcoidosis for 3 years and as the bills stacked up along with the prescriptions & side effects, we got disgusted enough to finally say NO MORE!
Life's most trying challenges can also be our most valuable gifts.
It took 18 months for natures powerful Farmacy to kick Sarcoidosis in the ass & my husband has been in remission since 09'.
After 5 years in remission we decided to share our story in hopes of inspiring more people to think outside the prescription. Thus the Education Beats Medication total wellness series was created and we've been able to help people all over the world make more informed decisions for their health!
Ultimately, this life lesson taught me that each of us have the power within to create, to heal, and to write our own story instead of living someone else's.

Because of Sarcoidosis I've learned web design, blogging, SEO, keyword research, social media marketing etc. Learning these skills took FOREVER but the time invested was well worth it. What story do you have to share, what trial have you overcome that you can help others navigate through?
Steemit offers anyone the opportunity to SHARE the lemonade & build THEIR bliss. You don't have to know how to build a website, blog, optimize a post, ping, get backlinks, stay in good standing with stupid Google updates, etc. Anyone can write, share their story, expertise etc., help people and earn. Shoot, you don't even have to write, just share other people's posts and earn. Can it be any more simple?
These decentralized platforms create opportunity and help lift people out of poverty but Steemit is genius! Thus far, it looks to me like most Altcoins have NOTHING that really gives them value but this platform has a network effect unlike any other blockchain technology. The community is growing, supportive, like minded & inCENTivized. Sheer genius. I should have jumped at this sooner but I'excited to be here now & am sharing with friends to further grow this network.
