Introduction Post

My name is Idisi Omamuzou Benjamin, a graduate of civil engineering from the university of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. I am a very sociable person and exceptionally active on social media(you could say i sleep live on SM). I am a crypto enthusiast and really fun to hang with if you get to know me. Love to go out and .......... You can fill that up with what you want but above all that, i am God lover.

HOW I CAME INTO STEEMIT?

July 2017 i had a daily post of jokes on my Facebook account which you can check if you like ( my fb name is same as above) and a friend Hive account@ellajonnez called me up and was like "dude you are wasting useful intellectual property making someone else rich". Now this sounded strange cause i had left blogging for a year which he knew.
Me: How?
Ella: (talked about how peeps were making money off a social website and how i could fit right in)..
You know the feeling of " too good to be true"? That was what i felt and thought.
Out of curiosity, i requested he sent me the site and he did but i didn't visit it till i called him 3months later when i was broke.
He was like, "imagine how much you would have made from steemit?" That was when i decided to really research about it. What i saw was surprising and i needed no further convincing, i wanted in but was still confused as to how to really make money from the website.
I called my newbie friend and he assisted me the best he could but wasn't enough. Registered but lost the account and then i enlisted extra help and tutorials before i could stamp my feet on the steemit platform AS A NEWBIE.

Over the period i have been researching and learning i have realised that steemit is more of a knowledge hub than a cashout pay point. I love this platform cause i spend most of my time here reading interesting posts and crypto post.
