Hello, beautiful minds. It's a great thing to be here. I'm Mercy from Nigeria. I'm a student of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Osun State. I'm a writer, a poetess and an educationist, I love writing since I was young and I am happy to discover a platform like this where I can put my skills to use. I also believe in impacting knowledge, skills and ideas either formally or informally. No matter how little or great we are, we have something that others do not have. You know something that others are not privileged to know.
This is my first time here on hive, as a new member. I have heard about hive, for a while now, the first time was when I just joined read.cash a month ago, since I don't have anyone to ask what hive is all about, I decided to do my findings on my own. I have been trying to be a member for a while now, as I don't have a referral. I find it difficult to do a lot of things here, especially the registration, it takes a few days for me before I am finally able to register successfully. I'm happy that I have finally accomplished that.
There are lots of things I am looking forward to do on this platform. As I believe we are not here only to earn. I hope I will meet new people, so we interact and share ideas together. I hope to have new friends here as well as I don't have much friends on my own. As
I'm a writer and an English Student, I would like to improve my writing skills so I can wish myself a job welldone. I hope I can learn new things because learning never ends. As I am new here, I still need to know a lot of things. I am open to change and correction. As I have said earlier, a lot things still needs to be known here.
What I love doing most apart from writing is singing, if I don't sing then I listen to music, from gospel, to secular then to foreign music. I like music a lot. I do sing when I'm alone or busy doing something, even though I haven't tried singing in an open audience, I still have that ego in me. Apart from writing and music, there are still somethings I love doing but there are not that important to note here.
