My nights have never been like those from average people. At thirteen I recognized my sleeping problems and made use of them in very unusual ways. At first I would just sit in front of the computer playing games and searching for curious details about characters in Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, but soon that quest for absurd knowledge shifted towards theatre. More precisely, circus. I became obsessed with circus, and turning into the greatest fan of Cirque du Soleil seemed a very predictable to happen.
I knew everything about it. Names of the different shows; Facts about the stage design; Performer's details; Music; Technical facts. And that last thing was, in fact, what shaped the years to come.
I will write about me, about my experience in the world of theatre and performing arts. My understanding of stage-tech and how this knowledge (not sure wether I should measure my knowledge or not) influenced my current obsession with fields of Computer Science such as Machine Learning and Data Analysis.
This post might seem a poor excuse for leaving the "You have no posts yet" status behind, but I think a brief introduction is always helpful.
