Hi, gals! Welcome to my Blog!
I stand before you today as a strong, independent woman in a world that constantly challenges us to define our identities. My journey toward becoming who I am today has been a testament to the power of resilience, determination, and unwavering self-belief. It's a journey that I wouldn't trade for anything. In this self-introduction blog, I will share my story, my values, and the lessons I've learned along the way, all of which have shaped me into the resilient woman I am today.
Independence as Empowerment
I was born into a family that prioritized education and encouraged independence from an early age. I was raised in Northern Cebu. I'm the eldest daughter of our family. We're 7 siblings, and I can say, we're a big happy family. I was born in 1997. I'm not born into a silver-spoon family, but I can tell that my parents can meet our needs. They can send us to school, to get the quality education we deserve. My parents instilled in me the importance of self-reliance and the value of hard work. This foundation laid the groundwork for the strong, independent woman I have become.
From a young age, I learned to embrace challenges head-on. Instead, I saw them as opportunities for growth. This mindset has been my guiding principle throughout my life. it's what pushed me to excel academically, pursue my passions, and ultimately carve my path in a world that sometimes underestimates my capabilities.
Independence isn't just about financial autonomy; it's also about making choices that align with your values and desires. I have always been fiercely independent in my decision-making.
Education as Liberation
Education has always been a cornerstone of my life. I firmly believe that knowledge is the key to unlocking doors of opportunity. Armed with this conviction, I pursued higher education relentlessly at Cebu Normal University - Main Campus taking up a BSED in Physical Sciences and pursuing an MAED- Teaching Chemistry in at Cebu Technological University-Main Campus. I earned a degree in a field I am passionate about. My career has been a reflection of my determination to challenge stereotypes. I entered a demanding profession, one that requires long patience and unwavering dedication. Despite the hurdles and skepticism I faced, I thrived.
Overcoming Life's Challenges
My life is not as perfect as it seems, I have my Ups and downs in life. My life problems and life situations made me a strong independent woman. At the early age of 22, I moved out of my parent's house, due to some family problems and a misunderstanding. I rented out a house for rent, which is just near my workplace. I learned how to stand on my own feet. I learned to face challenges on my own. I need to be strong, just to survive. I learned how to sell beauty products, meats, and any products online, which gave me a lifelong experience that taught me the importance of having my own money and being a financially independent individual.
I've faced my fair share of setbacks, but I've never let them define me. Instead, I've used them as stepping stones to propel myself further. Each obstacle has only strengthened my resolve to prove that a strong, independent woman can conquer anything.
Let's Travel Adventures
I'm the type of person who loves adventures, food, and exploring new spots to relieve stress and have fun in life. Going from place to place, and exploring the beauty of nature is on my bucket list. I'm also into motorcycle rides, meeting new friends, and expanding my network and connections while having fun.
Thrifting
One of my talents, at the same time my kind of hobby is going to a thrift store. I'm really into thrifting. I can spend all day just to find some high-quality branded items. I can proudly say, that most of my pieces of stuff are impressed with high quality at low prices. It just makes me happy, excited and fulfilled when I find new things with high quality and a purpose at very affordable prices.

I'm always open to an opportunity and an additional income, especially a passive income, and that's where Hives came in. My friend asked me, if Am I into blogging? I simply replied, "What's blogging? Can we earn and learn something from it? And she casually replied, "Yes, it's like vlogging but no need to make videos, just write or narrate your life". And then, I considered that simple approach and conversation; another opportunity that only knock once. So, I grab the chance, since there's nothing to lose by trying.
I choose Hives because the Hives community is full of amazing and positive people, and with this community, I can meet new people, grow my network of connections, and step out of my comfort zone. I will use the connection to work smart, not harder. I believe that here on Hives, I can do impossible things, possible.
