Hello SteemIt! My name is Kenty and I am a Belgian living in Estonia where I, currently, work as a customer support for Bolt (formerly known as Taxify).
My professional path is a bit peculiar... I graduated with a master's degree in Political Science and International Relations, with a focus on Diplomacy and Conflict Resolutions (although being a badass name, it is not the most valuable degree on the job market). I went to 4 different universities in 3 different countries: bachelor in ULiège (Belgium), Erasmus in University of Lapland (Finland), Summer School in University of Copenhagen (Denmark), Master in UCL (Belgium).
After graduating, I went back to Lapland, as an intern within the Arctic Centre, where I was working with some researchers of my Erasmus university on a project , dealing with the EU Arctic Policy for the EU Commission and the EEAS. Then, I moved to Helsinki for an internship where I was writing documents dealing with Finland and Estonia's politics and economy.
Although, the year after my graduation was super interesting, it was a financial disaster.... 3 months of internships covered by EU grants and 3 months of unpaid internship in Helsinki left a hole the size of the Mariana Trench in my bank account.
I know the question coming to your mind : " why the hell did you take a job in Estonia?"
As you can expect, I came back to Belgium pretty broke and moved back with my parents.... And looked for a job for 8 months. At some point, I had to put things into question: either I keep knocking on the same doors ( institutions in Brussels, embassies, research centres; what have you) or I start looking at all the things I can do with my current set of skills. One day, I was simply scrolling down Facebook and I saw that Taxify (now Bolt) was looking for a native French speaker to move in Estonia.
Anyway, I know that you are to read some solid content and not some random guy's life... So please find my publications for Polar Research and Policy Initiative dealing with Arctic Geopolitics, here : http://polarconnection.org/profile/kenty-dubois/

What to expect from my SteemI blogs ? I want to write about new events occuring in the 21st Century such as climate change, digitalization, social medias, environmental issues that force us to rethink global politics, governance and economy.
