My Steemit Introduction ....
Hello Steemians...writing here from the Philippines... I am new to this community and just learned Steemit from my good husband. As of now I am still exploring about it and I am excited to learn more things in this new social media community and meet friends at the same time...Making blogs is new to me, so as a beginner I am looking forward to learn in this adventure. I wanted to go out from my shell, which I considered myself being a shy typical Filipina that only talks when ask because I am worried to be embarrass if I utter words and ideas wrongly. I wanted to be feel free now to express my thoughts and opinions like others........And just also wonder if there is big number of Filipinos that are here already. !

My name is Mary Ann, a pure Filipina, 34 years old... many called me by my nickname "anne" but sometimes I wanted to be called "Maan" for a change... 😋I graduated in college here in Cagayan de Oro with the degree Bachelor of Science in Commerce-Management Accounting major. After my graduation I started to manage my family's small business and now I am trying to build my own. I have mini School supplies store and at the same time I am a home baker. I do accept cake orders which are going to be customize according to what's costumers request. It is a nice feeling that you are the boss of your own and no one will tell you on what to do and that, you are the owner of your own time management. I am going to share some of the pictures of my cake creations.. !

One of my family’s means of gathering is food.. we don’t love food…lol….This is famous Filipino style of eating…”boodle fight”.. is the Philippine Military jargon for a mess hall banquet where all the food are piled into one long table table and every soldier or all that are there including officers will going to eat using their bare hands as a symbol of camaraderie, brotherhood and equality in the Armed Forces. The "fight" part refers to the grabbing of foods in these feasts, this means you grab and eat as much as you can before the food runs out or else go hungry because everyone else is gorging away…For us we piled the foods on top of warmed banana leaves that made it smells good.
I think these are all for now about me. I am looking forward on learning many things in this community. I will be making regular post featuring the beauty of the Philippines in my next posts. And also please comment, up-vote and re-steem and I will for you too.... Have a good day steemians...mmmmuaaah!!!!
