Amazon's biggest shareholder, Jeff Bezos, posted a surprising rise in fortune last weekend. The wealth of this man rose during digelarnya days online shopping Black Friday and Thankgiving.
Quoted from CNN, Amazon shares rose 2.5 percent last weekend. The rise in stock prices was bolstered by an increase in online shopping that jumped by 18 percent. On Friday (24/11) alone, Bezos pocketed USD 2.4 billion or around Rp 32.4 trillion.
Bezos has recorded 78.9 million shares of Amazon whose value reached USD 93.6 billion. It has not included any other shares it holds, the Washington Post and Blue Origin space company.
In general, Amazon shares rose 58 percent so far this year. The increase in stock prices has added Jeff Bezos wealth of USD 34 billion.
