There’s someone I think you should know in the current tech investment world and his name is Chamath Palihapitiya. For those unfamiliar, Chamath is a former FB exec who is now a venture capitalist (founder of his own firm), owner of the Golden State Warriors, and has worked most of his life in Silicon Valley. He’s had a successful career in tech and now is making a name for himself in the investment community. But he’s also simply genius.
He was an early investor in Bitcoin (2012) and often advocate for it. In fact, I bought my first piece of bitcoin on his advice.
I try to listen to Chamath speak as often as possible. Here are two recent public appearances I don’t think you should miss. First, his defense of Bitcoin after the Buffett remarks and second, his explaination of AI and pitch in BOX.
