5. Do stake pools need to be online 24h/365d? (@PerfectAMD) Answer: Yes, stake pools need to provide near 100% uptime (Ruslan Dudin)

6. Besides up-time what are other categories/qualities that are considered to be a good staking pool? (latency, I/O, speed, bandwidth, processing power, etc) (Hive account@clarkalesna) Answer: if you pool provides 100% performance - it’s a good pool. 7. 2% of total stake was the criteria for casting votes on the next epoch slot leaders. Is this based on personal stake or pool stake total? (Hive account@virobit) Answer: 2% is only applicable to the Ouroboros Classic used in the Bootstrap Era. Shelley will implement Ouroboros Praos and this number is completely meaningless for this protocol (Ruslan Dudin)

13. will the network messages/protocls (tcp/udp ports) between pools be any different than the messages between wallets/clients"? if so, can iohk track a list of ips/hosts of pools so that we can create firewall rules to limit that traffic to other pool? 15. Is it possible to be a pool operator with 0 personal ADA? Why should this be possible? (Hive account@phillewis) Answer: Yes, but you need to pay fees to create your staking keys and the pool. This is possible so that people can run their own pools without having much of a personal stake, to server as service providers for people who have stake, but don’t want to run their own nodes. 16. Pool leader himself has to stake >0 ADA otherwise the pool rewards are 0, correct? (@Tom_H4A) Answer: nope, pool owner might stake 0 ADA and still successfully operate the pool. But the more pool owner stakes his personal coins - the more profitable pool will be (Ruslan Dudin) >> ok, i thought that if the pool leaders stake is 0 the pool is deactivated, but maybe I misunderstood this! 18. How can staking pools allow for redundancy in servers? Is it possible to host several servers across the world for the same staking pool with a priority list of servers (and any limit on priority list)? 20. I have questions about https://cardanodocs.com/cardano/topology/ during Shelly phase. This describes different node groups where the Relay nodes (stateless) take internet traffic and Core node (stateful) will be the slot leader (where ADA is staked) and responsible for creating new blocks. So will stake pool operators need to operate both Relay and Core nodes to maintail this topology?
