There are always risky investments in crypto, and some come with higher risk than others. For example, it might feel like a risk to invest in Bitcoin, but long-term, I wouldn't be worried about investing in Bitcoin at all. But, then you have all those crappy and small platforms that come with high APR and promise you gold... some of the gets the job done, while others end up dead and you lose most of your funds.
Sometimes we are lucky enough to find gems, and if you find them early, then you might be in for a good investment. One of the best way to find gems is by looking for a dedicated team with a runway that you are happy about. In other words, a project with a no-name team is way more risky, because you don't know who they are, and they haven't proven themselves worthy earlier.
So, my question is... does anyone have a good advice for a project that you believe will head upwards with a good team, and if you invest now, you have the chance to enjoy a great staking reward or farming reward or something like that?
Personally, I am paying close attention to Merchant Moe on the Mantle Network. It is created by the team behind Trader Joe on Avalanche and Arbitrum (thus I feel safe about the team), and the entire website is professional and it is a project that we know (DEX). If you add funds to the different pools and farm with your liquidity tokens, then you can at most get 400% APR which is awesome. Of course, if the market drops, then the rewards will be less and less worth, and if more people add funds to the farms, then the rewards will drop. But, the platform has been up for 2 weeks, and so far, so good!
