Earlier this year it became known that Apple is developing wireless headphones for running with iPhone 7, which, as I say, not 3.5 mm jacks. It has been suggested that in the past Apple has applied to trademark the term "AirPods", and now this is more confirmation.
The application for a trademark Apple AirPods filed by another company, but this is a common practice for Apple when it registers its most high-profile products through third parties. This suggests that Apple is at least seriously wireless headphones.
Wireless earphones are fully wireless-even without the cord connecting the two headphones, and can be recharged by using the included carrying case.
It is unlikely that Apple will include in the iPhone 7 set wireless AirPods as standard headphones. So you will probably have to pay more money to listen to music.
