Stephen was a gentle man to the call, he hates trouble so much and tries as much as he can to stay out of it.
Unlike his friend James who want to make his presence known wherever he find himself
The two of them still go well together despite the difference in their characters.
They have been friends since they were young, and the bound between them keep strengthening as they grow that people began to mistake them for a twin
One day, the two of them went for a party, Stephen was satisfied with fruit juice that was served him, but when James saw others taking alcohol, he joined them not that he always give in for taking it, but to make his presence known as he always do
After taking some glasses, he started misbehaving to the extent of slapping the wife of the governor who was present at the party.
This led into a serious trouble as some group of young men trying to beat up James for behaving in such manner,
Stephen was their begging for the crime of his friend,how can he witness the multitude to ever lay hands on his friend,he was doing all he could to get the issue solved amicably
Not too long before the news got to the ears of the governor, he sent police officers for the arrest James,but Stephen been the only one standing by James was arrested too for backing james and preventing the police officers from doing their job

On getting to the police custody, they were both charged for harassing the governor's wife and disturbing the peace of the community.
They both paid fine of $500 each after spending three days behind the bars ,then the court ordered there release.
Stephen suffered this much not for the crime he committed, but for the crime committed by his friend.
