the difference between this protests in comparison with the others is its reasons. 40yrs ago Iranian wanted to change the regime for ideologic reasons. Last days of previous regime, Shah, the King of Iran, promise to people that he will change the situation and in reform the political freedom. Unfortunately, Iranian did not trust him and told him to leave the country. Those days we were developing rapidly as statistics said that. Most of Iranians were not hungry. There was no unemployment. They had freedom in their personal life. The biggest problem of political limitations. Someone called “Mullah” were appeared and told people that we will help you to change the regime and establish a new one in goal to achieving to heaven! Most of people were uneducated and because of religion, trust them. They change everything. But now after 40 years we are in the worst possible situation. Our people are hungry. Our young people are educated and unemployed. There is no job. So little independent industry. We have faced many environmental problems. Political freedom became much worse. There is no hope in Future by this way. The government is not elected from experts. They are some special men. They don’t let people to choose what they want. Their elections are humorous. They select some special men and tell people choose one of these verified men. We have to choose between “bad” and “worse”. There is no free election. My country has governed by a dictator. If someone tell that you have a problem in government, he/she should be killed. No other way.
They abuse the Religion to govern. They spend our money in terrorism. We wanna peace.
In summary, the demands of people have changed and they are protesting for the first rights like “food”, “freedom” …
These days protest calm down by imprisoning more than 3700 people and killing more than 30 people. But it will start in near future and we will throw out this dictator, Khamenei.
