I joined Hive because I'm looking for censorship-resistant social media. Especially when freedom of speech and assembly has been removed in Ireland. People have been jailed for speaking facts and protesting important issues.
We need to find a way for citizens to communicate and cooperate with each other. Maybe building a dapp on top of Hive could do it. I can code in Python so maybe later I crack Hive smart contracts.
The fact that Hive is a democratic DAO and has a functional stablecoin, means we could break off as our own blockchain nation.
I'm mostly going to be posting on Hive about whatever rant springs to mind. Other than blockchain, I'm big into ancient Irish culture and I generally believe in a world governed by personal boundaries. If someone crosses over someone's boundaries, they get a wack with a stick.
Maybe I'll get brave enough to post videos of me playing a wee bit of trad music.
