I drove along Co. Antrim's north coast this evening and snapped a few shots with my smartphone at three locations all within a mile in about 10 minutes. The first is of the ruined Dunluce Castle. The castle sits on a precipitous defensive headland and was abandoned in the late 1600s.
The second picture is of the Whiterocks beach, just outside the town of Portrush. The dunes of the beach form one side of the Open golf championship course Royal Portrush.
The third photo was taken from a headland midway between the two looking towards the peninsula town of Portrush with the Fanad peninsula of Co. Donegal in the background.
