Ireland is a country with a fantastic nature, lots of rain, and great humor. It is no wonder why the people of Ireland want to watch their favorite shows on Virgin Media Player, RTE, and other channels as they go abroad.
I have been writing lots of articles throughout the years dealing with how you can watch Irish TV channels while abroad. Luckily, things haven't changed that much, but I recently looked through some of the different articles to make sure that they are up to date. In addition, I also created some easy explainer videos for YouTube showing you in detail how you can watch RTE in Ireland from abroad, and how to watch Virgin Media Player from abroad.
- How to watch Virgin Media Player from abroad (article)?
- How to watch Virgin Media abroad (explainer video)?
- How to watch RTE from abroad (article)?
It was interesting to see that in 2013 as I originally wrote the article about watching Virgin Media Player online, it wasn't Virgin Media, but TV3. So, the name has changed...
Virgin Media vs. RTE?
To be honest, who wants to watch RTE? I guess those who want to stay up to date on what's going on in Ireland. But, besides that, there aren't many programs worth visiting RTE for. Sometimes they stream sports events, and that is why I sometimes visit the website, but there are no TV programs there that I would visit this streaming service for.
But, Virgin Media is different. There you can find fantastic TV series for kids, you can see The X Factor, Big Brother (I would never watch it, but it is still an interesting program), Emmerdale, and lots of other popular TV series.
Now the articles are up to date, so if you are looking for a way to watch Irish TV from abroad, the articles and the video should be able to help you out!
If you still have a question or a comment, visit the articles and ask your question there. You can try asking here as well, but I will most likely not notice that the question is asked, and thus I will not be able to answer it either.
