Every breeze whispers 'Irma is coming' and dread fills you wholly.
We are roughly 8 hours away from the tropical storm force winds (50-60mph) of Irma. Tomorrow night we will get the hurricane strength winds (90-110mph). The contemplative anticipation is nail bitingly fearsome. We were not here for Charley but those who were tell us that it was bad and this storm is 3 times the size and magnitude. The whole town looks like a ghost town right now with houses boarded up and vehicles nearly non-existent. Here are some pictures from our neighborhood.
This promises to be at least a catastrophic event for my area of Florida. We are already experiencing gusts of 30+. As the storm progresses I will have video footage of the awesome power unleashed by Irma. Keep watching this post to kep up to date on all developments. Thank You.
