Ibne- 'Abbas Radiyallahu anhuma narrates that Rasulullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: Verily Allah Ta'ala has created Israfil 'Alaihis Salam. From the day he was created he has been keeping both his feet in line, not raising his eyes. There are seventy (veils of light) between him and the Sustainer, Blessed and Exalted.
